How it works

Your path to being exam-ready

01Learn

Learn it from the videos, the PDFs and bite-sized concepts

Each topic opens as a short concept in the structure you know from the channel, with my video and the matching PDF page right beside it. No hunting for what comes next.

  • 224 videos
  • 340+ PDFs
Course topics in the practice app
02Practice

Lock it in with adaptive practice

Quizzes, flashcards and interactive exercises, each attached to the concept it came from. You answer from memory instead of re-reading, engaging in active recall.

  • 5,100+ questions
  • 9 exercise types
An ordering exercise mid-answer in the practice app
03Repeat

It comes back before you forget it

Spaced repetition schedules each topic's review and reminds you when it's due. Get something wrong and it returns sooner; get it right and it returns later. You see your level per topic, so you always know what to focus on.

  • Level per topic

04Ask

Stuck? Ask the AI tutor and get answers with sources

It knows the course: ask about a term and the answer comes from my material, with the concept and the PDF page it came from. Any time, mid-practice.

  • Ask the tutor
  • Answers with sources

Inside the platform

Read it, practise it, keep it — in one place

My teaching cut into bite-sized concepts, 9 types of interactive question, repetition that brings each topic back, and an AI tutor that cites the PDF page.

  • The teaching, cut into bite-sized concepts

The same explanations you know from the channel, in short pieces you can finish when time is tight.

  • 9 question types, written to my material

Categorising, Diagram, Flashcards, Matching, Multiple choice, Ordering, Pairing, Table, Fill in the blank — every one reviewed by an editorial team. You learn the topic, not the answer.

  • Earlier topics come back on their own

What you get wrong returns in a few days; what you know returns less often — enhancing retention and strengthening areas of weakness.

The PDFs

Written and picture PDFs based on the videos

A written and a picture version of the topics I cover, yours to read, print and annotate — now paired with the practice app.

Rhesus Medicine written and picture PDFs, with the matching video
  • Written and picture PDFs

Topics in two versions: plain text for reading through, and an illustrated one for visual learners.

  • Download, print and annotate

They're yours to mark up. Print them for the ward, annotate them on a tablet, revise from them offline.

  • New PDFs as they release

Each new video gets its PDF, and it appears in your library the day it's out. Nothing to re-buy, ever.

About me

“Breaking topics into organised chunks made them easier to remember.”

Dr Rhys Welnitschuk

Welsh GP practising in the UK · the creator of Rhesus Medicine

I'm Dr Rhys, a Welsh doctor currently working as a GP in the NHS. I studied medicine in Italy, where the emphasis on remembering clinical knowledge taught me the benefits of having an organised structure when learning topics, which you'll see is reflected in my videos.

That's how Rhesus Medicine started, short videos made while I revised topics for my own exams and in preparation for clinical practice. Six years later, half a million subscribers learn from them, and the practice notes and app are the next step.

FAQ

Questions students ask

What exactly do I get?

By subscribing to the platform, you will have access to all of my medical PDFs — written and picture versions, downloadable and printable, across every specialty I cover — and the practice app, where the specialties I've built so far are interactive courses with questions, repetition, an exam plan and an AI tutor. New PDFs and new specialties are included as they land.

Can I buy just the PDFs, or just the app?

No, and that's on purpose. The PDFs teach it and the app helps it stick; splitting them means paying twice to solve one problem. One subscription gets both.

Can I download the PDFs during the free trial?

During the 14-day free trial you can open and read every PDF inside the platform, but downloading and printing unlock once the trial ends and subscription begins. From then on, you'll be able to download and keep them on your device.

Which specialties are in the practice app today?

The specialty pages say, each one, and the browse page shows the whole picture at a glance. The rest are being built. Whichever you need, the PDFs for it are yours today.

Are the PDFs suitable for beginners?

Yes. I write them to be concise and readable — the point is that a complicated topic fits on a few pages you can actually hold in your head. The PDFs are suitable for students from first year to postgraduate doctors.

How do I get the PDFs after I subscribe?

In the app, open your course and go to the Resources tab. Every PDF is there: open it to read, or download it straight from there. You can read them from day one; downloads unlock once the trial ends and subscription begins.
